AL resorted to heinous crime to proceed: Fakhrul

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Algamir said, The Awami League has resorted to a heinous game to proceed the party regime by terrorizing the people through killings, injuries and terrorism.

He made the remarks criticizing the government, according to a statement signed by the party’s acting office secretary Syed Emran Saleh Prince on Saturday.

Fakhrul said, ‘‘As part of its heinous tactics to cover up the horrific misrule, the ruling government has been carrying out heinous attacks on opposition leaders and activists, including BNP, and inflicting horrific casualties.’’

He said, Opposition parties, including the BNP, have been deprived of the opportunity to conduct their political activities without hindrance.

Without the support of the ruling party, the terrorists would not have dared to attack the Magura district BNP office and brutally hack and injured the Juba Dal leader, he added.
