Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Tuesday said that Awami League government had failed to resolve the Rohingya crisis for its ‘submissive foreign policy’.

Around 10 lakh Rohingyas entered Bangladesh facing repressions of the Arakan army in Myanmar in 2017.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said this after placing wreath at the grave of Ziaur Rahman marking the 28th founding anniversary of Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal.

‘The Chinese and Indian governments are supporting the Myanmar government. Awami League has no capacity to resolve the issue with them,’ Fakhrul said.

President of Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal Ishtiq Aziz Ulfat, general secretary Sadeque Ahmed Khan, BNP vice president Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, joint secretary general Moazzem Hossain Alal and others attended the programme.
