BNP’s standing committee meeting this afternoon

BNP standing committee members are scheduled to sit for a meeting at BNP’s political office in Gulshan of the capital on Saturday afternoon.

Shairul Kabir Khan, a press wing member to the BNP chief, said the meeting will start at 4:00 pm.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other standing committee members will join the meeting.

Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is expected to join the meeting through Skype, said sources.

The meeting will discuss various issues including current political situations of the country, by-polls to 5 JS seats, Chittagong City Corporation election, Khaleda Zia’s bail and other important issues.
